Getting Started with the Starter Kit

 Making your own jewelry has never been this easy!

We put together these Starter Kits to make it easy for anyone to jump right into making jewelry.  Each starter kit comes with:

  • 1 empty 33-box necklace
  • 1 empty 14-box bracelet
  • 1 empty pair of lever-back earrings
  • 72 Swarovski stones to put in them
  • A hand tool that makes the process super easy and quick

Step 1

Choose from 8 different metal finishes:

  • Gold Overlay is a thin layer of real gold plating.
  • Sterling Silver Overlay is a thin layer of real sterling silver plating.  Because it's real silver, it will naturally tarnish over the years.
  • Rhodium is very similar to silver, but doesn't contain any real silver, so it never tarnishes.  Rhodium is slightly more reflective, like a "chrome silver", where Sterling Silver is more like a "white silver".
  • Hematite is a gunmetal color.
  • Brass Ox, Silver Ox, and Copper Ox are our "antique" finishes, which are oxidized to create a speckled antique look.

Step 2

It wouldn't be a real jewelry kit without genuine Swarovski crystals.  Choose your 3 favorite stone colors, and you'll get 24 in each color, for a grand total of 72 stones.  And you don't have to worry about being unique—we've got 92 different colors to choose from.

Step 3

Back in the old days, we used to set the stones in empty jewelry by crimping the prongs down with pliers.  But now, the Starter Kit comes with our new Prong-Pushing Hand Tool, a tool that's so simple it's brilliant.  Just watch this 60-second video to find out how it can save you the time and pain of crimping prongs.
